Self-Service Banking Intelligence, Delivered Daily — No IT in the Loop

BI Platform + Executive Dashboards

Client Banco Pichincha (Ex- Financiero)
Challenge

Banco Financiero is one of Peru’s leading banks, active across wholesale and retail banking, consumer lending, microcredit and credit placement. Its dashboards were bolted onto source systems in isolation — users couldn’t drill down or extend a view, so every deeper question triggered a manual reporting cycle. The mandate was twofold: define a cross-functional information schema that genuinely served end users, and stand up technology that delivered clear, exploitable visualization for both technical and business audiences — with detailed data available the moment it was needed.

The Approach

AYNITECH designed a transversal data model spanning the bank’s functional areas and implemented it on MicroStrategy, chosen after a head-to-head comparison of market tools. The result put direct, self-service exploration in the hands of end users rather than routing every request through the technology team.

The Outcome

The bank moved to daily information with direct end-user access and no IT intervention — and, with it, a new working philosophy around how data is consumed across the organization.

In Their Words

“Precise, practical, and concise information — with no intermediaries.”

Why AYNITECH FACTORY

For more than five years, AYNITECH served as the principal outsourcing arm for analytics, data-warehouse and management-dashboard initiatives at Banco Pichincha. The bank evaluated several vendor proposals and chose AYNITECH on the strength of an objective, concise demo; the MicroStrategy decision followed a comparison across the full market.
