Challenge

The CCFFAA is the execution body of the Ministry of Defense, responsible for planning, preparing, coordinating and conducting the military operations of Peru’s Armed Forces. Information sat in silos: the Joint Command chief had to query each branch chief individually, with no centralized management-information system. As elsewhere, the harder shift was cultural — users were accustomed to physical documents and Excel.

The Approach

AYNITECH — selected through a public tender — delivered a centralized database model with room to grow, implemented on MicroStrategy, and paired the rollout with training to seed a new management discipline.

The Outcome

A new culture of management took hold, with personnel trained on new tools and decision-making consolidated onto a single, centralized view.
