Luz del Sur distributes electricity across the south and east of Lima, serving 33% of the Peruvian electricity sector. Static reports were no longer enough; the company needed stronger analytical capability. Its existing tool, Business Objects, supported reporting but couldn’t produce management dashboards — and adopting a new solution meant changing how the business managed, retraining developers, and reconfiguring the underlying data.

The Approach

AYNITECH implemented executive-grade management dashboards on MicroStrategy — one of the most powerful dashboarding platforms available — to lift analysis to the management level, and led the cultural and technical transition that came with it.

The Outcome

The benefits were immediate: the commercial area retired its previous tool and adopted roughly 30 control dashboards across the commercial and cost domains.
